Samhain Séance
Join us this Samhain for an evening of Spirit, History, Magic, and Séance.
We’ll begin the evening with a guest speaker taking us into the world of Victorian Séances and Spiritualism, exploring the history of the Séance and how people once gathered to communicate with the other side.
From there, Sabrina of Modern Witch Alchemy will guide the group through protection spell work as we prepare ourselves and the space for the Séance.
Then, we’ll gather around the table for the main event: our Samhain Séance. Together, we’ll open the circle and create a space for our ancestors and loved ones in spirit to come through and connect with us.
Every Séance is different, and that’s part of the experience. Spirit communication can never be guaranteed, and we can’t control how, when, or if our ancestors choose to interact. We simply create the space, open the circle, and allow the experience to unfold however it’s meant to.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided throughout the evening.
Come curious, come respectful, and come ready for a night beyond the veil.

Hello, I’m Clara, and I’m very excited to be a guest speaker at the Samhain séance!
On our podcast, Conjuring Curiosities, I have covered a lot of aspects of the Victorian era, but I have a special interest and place in my heart for Spiritualism. It was a movement that forever changed how we perceive the afterlife, and our relationships with those who have passed on. I will cover the origins and most interesting aspects of the séance, which will help form a better understanding as we communicate with the spirit realm later in the night. So many cultures throughout history have acknowledged Halloween as a time when the veil is thinnest between the living and the dead, and I can’t wait to share their stories and what we can learn from the past!

Hi, I’m Sabrina, the heart behind Modern Witch Alchemy.
I’m a facilitator, ritualist, and space holder who is deeply passionate about bringing people together through magic, connection, and shared experience. My work blends witchcraft, energy work, sound healing, and ritual to create spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, with nature, and with one another.
I believe magic is something we experience, not just something we learn about. My intention as a facilitator is to create grounded, welcoming spaces where you can explore your craft, embrace your intuition, and show up fully as yourself. Whether that looks like deep reflection, laughter, getting a little feral, or reconnecting with parts of yourself you may have forgotten, all of it is welcome here.
I’ve spent years holding circles, facilitating workshops, leading rituals, and working one on one with clients. My approach is down to earth, supportive, and rooted in the belief that we all carry our own unique magic.
